- Meng Lu slips and Gong Chen catches her.
- Hao Qian arrives to the hotel. He tells An Ning the contract is ready and for her to start her work tonight.
- He hears staff members gossiping about An Ning and say she likes females.
Trouble at the Restaurant
- Two guests come to the restaurant and cause trouble. They want Gong Chen to make two dishes but the rules are only one dish by the head chef per table.
- The guests don’t like the dishes and want to see Gong Chen. They start to cause a scene. An Ning sees they are from Yi An Group, working for L Group.
- Hao Qian arrives. He tells Gong Chen to make the dishes again for the other guests. They all like the food. Hao Qian considers using An Ning’s power for business.
High School Reunion
- Hao Qian picks up An Ning to go to a high school reunion dinner. He had lost a year of his memories from high school after a kidnapping and injury, causing him to not complete his senior year.
- An Ning looks into Du Kai’s memories and found he had called the police after seeing Hao Qian injured. A few days later Hao Qian transferred to study abroad.
- An Ning is angry with Hao Qian for not letting her eat. They get splashed by a truck.
- An Ning sees a father and daughter play with fireworks. She thinks about her dad.
- Hao Qian thinks about what is An Ning’s type.
- Gong Chen gives them a cooking test split into three rounds. An Ning wins and becomes Gong Chen’s apprentice.
- Hao Qian meets with Uncle Bai and rides horses. He goes to grab An Ning for help and brings her shopping.
