- Hao Qian picks up An Ning for work. They run into a man pretending he got hit by a car. An Ning causes a scene and he leaves.
- Meng Lu attends a ball with Mr. Ling. They run into Min Er.
- Hao Qian brings An Ning shopping. They’re deeply in love.
- Meng Lu asks Gong Chen why he doesn’t want to marry. He thinks it’s too much pressure. She thinks he doesn’t love him and they break up.
- An Ning, Xia Tian, Meng Lu have lunch. Xia Tian is afraid to meet Ming Jun’s father.
- They meet Min Er at Mr. Ling’s cosplay club. Hao Qian, Ming Jun, and Gong Chen also arrive. Mr. Ling gives Meng Lu wine.
- They go out for a drink. He wants to be her boyfriend. She’s surprised.
- Hao Qian takes An Ning horseback riding.
- Meng Lu and Gong Chen talk. He thinks she broke up with him for Mr. Ling.
An Ning’s Internal Struggle
- An Ning runs into old classmates at a dessert shop. They see her ring and think it’s fake. An Ning lies and says her fiancé opens a small restaurant. The classmates look down on her status.
- Hao Qian watches the interaction. He comes and tells them he’s the CEO of Long Teng hotel and they’re welcome anytime.
- He’s mad she lied about him. He wants her to accept all of him – his status, wealth, family and gives her a few days to reflect.
- Mr. Ling brings Meng Lu horseback riding. Gong Chen is distracted.
- Hao Qian and Ming Jun talk about An Ning. It’s tough for her to enter his world.
