Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from the novel “Yu Zhao Ci”. It tells the story of half immortal Dong Yue who has a lotus body and Feng Xi, a powerful minister who has no choice but to go through the entanglement of love and hatred for three generations to prevent the war.
Plot Synoposis:
During the reign of Da Yin, the war-suffering female general Dong Yue returns to the pre-war period.
She assassinates the rebel Lu Yuan Tong to save the common people, and fought and fights against “treacherous official” Feng Xi. Unbeknownst to her, feelings are secretly born.
Feng Xi unscrupulously causes Dong Yue’s misunderstanding. Dong Yue goes to kill Lu Yuan Tong alone, and Feng Xi dies saving her .
Dong Yue goes back and chooses to believe in Feng Xi, but Feng Xi forgets her.
She tries to help Feng Xi retrieve his memory, but couldn’t bear hurting his body. She had no choice but to protect Feng Xi silently like a stranger.
Feng Xi falls in love with her again and does not hesitate to die with Lu Yuan Tong to help her stop the war.
In order to save Feng Xi, Dong Yue goes back to the past for the third time. She learns of Feng Xi’s true identity, helps the third prince ascend the throne and brings peace to the world.
However, affected by the reversal of time and space, Dong Yue’s life is about to die out. Feng Xi secretly helps Dong Yue continue her life.
She finds out and leaves without saying goodbye. Feng Xi continues to look for her until one day he sees the wind before the moon, and the holly blossoms.

Sun Yi 孙怡 as Dong Yue 冬月
The daughter of the official Wen Ye, she is a brave female general, who dies in the Dingyuan Rebellion. Because she wants to prevent Lu Yuan Tong from starting a war, she is sent back to eight years ago by Er Yu with a jade flute. In the process of assassinating Lu Yuan Tong, she experiences three lifetimes and forges a fateful bond with Feng Xi.
Jin Han 金瀚 as Feng Xi 冯夕
The younger brother of the emperor’s favourite consort, Consort Feng. In the eyes of the world, “the minister” doesn’t have a conscience, does not scrutinize any means, and depends on the emperor and nepotism. He is promoted from the official of the Ministry of Etiquette and defeats the corrupt officials.

Tan Jian Ci 檀健次 as The Third Prince 三皇子
The third son of Emperor Yin Ling who becomes a viable candidate for the throne. He is a gentleman, elegant and wise. Feng Xi used to be his schoolmate, and the two had a period of mutual sympathy. But because of Feng Xi’s unscrupulous means, they gradually drifted apart. Getting acquainted with Dong Yue for the first time changes his practice of not participating in political affairs, and also makes Dong Yue an opponent of Feng Xi. With the help of Feng Xi and Dong Yue, he eventually becomes a just emperor.
Luo Qiu Yun 罗秋韵 as Zi Yuan & Ming Zhu 子鸢 & 明珠
As Ming Zhu, she is a servant Anhou Mansion at first. She is brave and alert, respectful of love and justice. She cares most for her younger brother Xiao Si. Master Dong Yue, who likes justice, is taken advantage twice by Feng Xi and because of Xiao Si. From betrayal to loyal to Dongyue, he was redeemed because of Dongyue’s forgiveness. She and Dao Le do everything for their masters, and unexpectedly become the catalyst for Feng Xi and Dong Yue’s relationship. With the entanglement of the two masters, Zi Yuan and Dao Le gradually become each other’s most special existence.
Yu Cheng En 余承恩 as Dao Le 道乐
He has superb martial arts and is Feng Xi’s most trusted servant. Dao Le is frank, straightforward, and a little overbearing. When he lost his parents, he was rescued by Feng Xi and swears to follow Feng Xi until his death. Because of the same experience of losing a loved one, Dao Le protects Zi Yuan like a brother caring for his sister. Slowly, the two finally find their way into each other’s hearts.
