Plot Synopsis:

In 228 AD, the Shu army defeats Wei in the Northern Expedition. According to the analysis by the intelligence department of the state of Shu, the false information that causes the misjudgment of the Shu army is sent by Chen Gong, a senior secret spy lurking in Wei.

Shu State’s counterintelligence expert Xun Xu is ordered to infiltrate the Wei State to investigate Chen Gong. Chen Gong passes Xun Xu’s investigation. They find that inside the intelligence department of Shu, there has been an undercover Cao Wei, code-named “Candle Dragon”.

“Candle Dragon” not only replaces Chen Gong’s intelligence, but also prepares a secret operation to steal the design drawing of Shu’s repeated crossbow, and launches the “Qingping Plan” to create chaos in Shu.

Xun Xu returns to the Shu Kingdom, ready to work together with Chen Gong to find out the person behind “Candle Dragon”. Xun Xu succeeds in preventing Wei from stealing the secrets of the repeated crossbow, and finds a traitor hidden in the intelligence department of Shu.
