Plot Synoposis:
Noble Lady Yuan was kidnapped and after waking up lost her memory. Her personality changes and she runs away from home to avoid her upcoming marriage. She changes her name to A Yuan, dresses in men’s clothing, and becomes a constable in Qinhe.
At the same time, Gui family’s son Jing Ci was harmed on his way of sending his love to get married. He was lucky and survived, arriving to Qinhe and becoming a county captain. He becomes A Yuan’s colleague and secretly protects her.
A Yuan devotes herself to punishing the treacherous and tries to keep peace in Qinhe. The county sees frequent crimes and Jing Ci and A Yuan hunt down the criminals and seek after the truth.
Soon, A Yuan finds out her identity isn’t Noble Lady Yuan and that Jing Ci isn’t just a small county caption. When their true identities are unveiled, their relationship is tested.
A Yuan breaks all ties with Jing Ci and marries another. Another murder case in Beijing appears and points to A Yuan as the killer, putting her in prison. Jing Ci works to save A Yuan, searching for the true mastermind and taking A Yuan away from the storm.

Yu Meng Long 于朦胧 as Jing Ci 景辞
Forbearing and resourceful. He is in love with Feng Mian Wan deeply but cannot reveal his true feelings and must hide it in his heart. On his journey of sending Feng Mian Wan and his relatives he was sabotaged. After, he changes his identity and becomes a magistrate in Qinhe. He starts a new relationship with Feng Mian Wan.
Chen Yu Qi 陈钰琪 as Feng Mian Wan 风眠晚
Sincere and brave, she is the twin sister of Yuan Qing Li, and the childhood sweetheart of Jing Ci. After her amnesia she takes on Yuan Qing Li’s identity. She usually dresses like a man and becomes a constable at Qinhe.
Chen Yu Qi as Yuan Qing Li 原清离
The daughter of a deceased general and Feng Mian Wan’s twin sister. She was abducted on the way to a nun’s retreat and has since disappeared.
Zhang Si Fan 张思帆 as Mu Bei Yan 慕北湮
Emperor Wang’s only son, he is a childhood sweetheart of Yuan Qing Li. Later, he fell in love with the new “Yuan Qing Li”.
