Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from Jiu Lu Feixiang’s novel “The King Is Here”. It tells the story of Shen Li, the Azure Sky King of the spiritual world, who falls to the human world due to an injury during her escape from her wedding. By chance, she meets the last ancient god Xing Zhi who came down to earth to experience life. Plot Synopsis:
In order to control her own destiny, Shen Li, the Azure Sky King of the spiritual world, accidentally meets the ancient god Xing Zhi in the human world while she is escaping from marriage. The two of them fall in love with each other as they work together to eliminate evil, promote good, and uncover the truth.
Xing Zhi, the last god of the ancient times, is responsible for guarding the outer world to protect the peace of the world and the order of all things. The two people carry heavy responsibilities and must make difficult choices between love and responsibility.
In order to protect her people, Shen Li fights bravely against the evil forces and does not hesitate to sacrifice in the East China Sea to uphold justice.
Xing Zhi learns the meaning of responsibility from Shen Li, and finally bravely shoulders his mission to protect the peace of the world at the expense of his own ego. In the process, both of them rediscover the true meaning of love, responsibility, and life.
