- Wen Yi runs into Ye Hui. Ye Hui knows that Wen Yi doesn’t know the “debuff” power move and has been asking others to play on behalf of him. He blackmails Wen Yi to purposely lose the competition.
- Ye Xiu fights with Yi Fan. Yi Fan is scared he’s not up to the task and will let everyone down. Ye Xiu tells him the team is waiting.
- The 9th season mentor competition begins. Xing Xin faces Wei Cao.
- In the game, Yi Fan decides to stay back and stop the witches as the team runs ahead. Wen Yi finally helps and boosts the teammates’ health points. He s able to cross the finish point and Xing Xin wins.
- Wen Yi calls Ye Hui and tells him he’s not scared. Ye Xiu hears and Wen Yi confesses. Ye Xiu tells him to stay.
- The next team they face is Lan Yu.
- Wen Yi talks with Yi Fan. He knows Yi Fan used double the price to buy him his equipment. Wen Yi is grateful for Yi Fan’s support.
Lan Yu vs Xing Xin
- Wen Zhou and Shan Tian discuss Xing Xin. Shao Tian promises he won’t let them get any points against Lan Yu. Shao Tian texts Ye Xiu without realizing Wen Zhou can see it on the projector.
- The team listens to Shao Tian on speaker while he calls Ye Xiu. Shao Tian tells him Lan Yu is serious for this competition.
- Luo Ji believes the team has a low chance of counterattacking. The only chance they have is breaking up Wen Zhou and Shao Tian’s duo tactics. Ye Xiu thinks they need a warlock.
