Ding Ning’s Test
- Ding Ning’s next test is to find the energy in the statue and get it to emit through the sword. He passes.
- Li Dao Ji (Mr. Li) calls on the disciples. Bai Yang Dong will join with Qing Teng and learn together.
Cultivating
- They enter Bai Yang Dong. Ding Ning gets special privileges, on the leader, Xue Wang Xu’s orders. He gets to look at the resources and pick out a technique to learn.
- Ding Ning tells Cai Shu why he came to Bai Yang Dong. He thinks they can help him live longer.
- Ding Ning chooses a cultivation book and sword technique book. Cai Shu thinks these are the worst ones and won’t do him any good.
- Ding Ning cultivates and succeeds in opening up his energy portals. Cai Shu apologizes for doubting him. He helps her on her cultivation.
- Li Dao Ji brings Ding Ning to his cultivation spot. He doesn’t need to attend class like the others. He shows Ding Ning lingmai, which can help in cultivating faster. Ding Ning requests to head home and come back during the day.
- Cai Shu is able to progress in her cultivation, thanks to Ding Ning’s book suggestions.
Bai Yang Dong vs Qing Teng
- Qing Teng leader talks with his disciple. They want to convert Bai Yang Dong people to their people.
- The Bai Yong Dong disciples question Ding Ning’s character. Li Dao Ji tells them they are able to attend Qing Teng’s sword competition and the winner will receive Qing Zhi Yu Po. Lingmai will be another prize.
- Ding Ning visits Qian Xue. He tells her he missed her and can come back whenever to see her.
- Li Dao Ji doesn’t believe Ding Ning learned all of the Ye Huo sword technique in one day. Ding Ning shows him. Xue Wang Xu decides to give Ding Ning the Mo Hua Can sword.
- Bai Shan Shui meets with Shang Jia lady for business. Qian Xue watches the interaction.
