Plot Synopsis:
The librarian Ceng Li becomes acquainted with Ai Jing Chu, the deputy chief dentist, when she needs to fix her teeth. The two experience a snowy night together, hide-and-seek in the orphanage, a pirate themed New Year’s Eve.
From misunderstanding to acquaintance they slowly walk into the other’s hearts.
Just when the two are about to confess to each other, Ceng Li, who had been waiting for ten years for her “first love” and Ai Jing Chu’s best friend, Yu Yi, returns to China and pursues Ceng Li fiercely.
After reading Ceng Li’s novel “The Story of Yu and Xiao Yuer,” Ai Jing Chu misunderstands that the person Ceng Li likes was always Yu Yi, and gives up his plan to confess, deciding to go to Africa for medical assistance.
But because of Yu Yi’s sudden confession, Ceng Li becomes more clear about who she loves, and returns to Ai Jing Chu without hesitation. The two lovers finally get married at the end.
