Plot Synopsis:

Ye Ling Shuang, a grassland girl, is regarded as a disaster omen by her tribe because she can predict disasters. Only Yebei princess Qi Hai Rui treats her like a sister.

Yebei recklessly fights against Chao, and was about to perish after being defeated. Ye Ling Shuang was also taken as a female prisoner and imprisoned in the Jiaofang Division, but she does not give in, and relies on her astrological talent to become an official in the Qin Tianjian.

Step by step, she walks into the heart of the iron-blooded emperor Yu Xiu Ming, but when the friendship between the two gets stronger, Ye Ling Shuang learns the news of Qi Hai Rui’s death and breaks up with Yu Xiu Ming.

Feng Shao Feng 冯绍峰 as Ye Xiu Ming 彧修明
The founding emperor of the Chao Dynasty, the first unified emperor in the mainland of Kyushu. Acting decisively and tyrannically, he plans to use Princess Yebei’s refusal to marry as an excuse to send troops to attack the last piece of Yebei that had not surrendered to Chao. He becomes interested in Ye Ling Shuang after her many assassinations and finally fell in love with her.

Peng Xiao Ran 彭小苒 as Ye Xiao Ran 叶凌霜
A prairie girl carrying the stars, she is regarded as an unknown person. After Yebei was destroyed due to Chao’s schemes, Ye Ling Shuang tried assassinating Chao Gaodi many times under the pseudonym Bai Lu in order to avenge her tribe and friends. During the process of revenge, Chao Gaodi and Ye Ling Shuang fell for each other.

Zhu Zheng Ting 朱正廷 as Yu Wu You 翼无忧
The prince of the Yu clan who wanders in the Yebei grassland after losing all his relatives due to Chao. He loves Bai Lu deeply, but is still unable to express his feelings because of his reservedness. Later, in order to get Bai Lu, he decides to restore the country, but falls a few steps away from the throne.

Cheng Xiao Meng 程小蒙 as Qi Hai Ling 七海怜
As the eldest princess of Yebei, she has a great sense of responsibility to the tribe. After the fall of Yebei, she leads the survivors of Yebei to survive.
