- Gui Chen starts to attack Xiao Zhou. She takes out his flute to play. He starts to remember and relaxes. She knocks him out unconscious.

- The King tells her all the bad things he’s done. He tells her he killed Gui Chen personally. Xiao Zhou is scared of this side of her brother. He tells her Chen Yue helped Gui Chen live. He wants her to kill Gui Chen. She refuses but her brother asks her to choose between the two of them.
Gui Chen’s New Life
- Gui Chen wakes. Xiao Zhou calls him Asule to calm him down. She tells him they should go home together and is prepared to die with him.
- Gui Chen says his name and Xiao Zhou stops. She holds him and apologizes for bringing him to Di Du.
- Yu Ran looks at the box of treats she had given to Gui Chen. Xiao Zhou arrives with Gui Chen, surprising Yu Ran and Ji Ye.
- Ji Ye and Yu Ran scare Gui Chen. He starts to gain back some memories. Xiao Zhou explains Chen Yue’s dark magic did this to him. Xiao Zhou tells them to take Gui Chen far away and leave Di Du.
- The palace servants wait outside for Xiao Zhou. She heads back unwillingly.
- The King knows Xiao Zhou let Gui Chen go because she likes him. He tells her he will abdicate his throne. He chooses her to be his successor.
