- Gui Chen is paraded through Di Du in a royal gold tomb.
- Xiao Zhou finds Yu Ran and Ji Ye. Yu Ran gives Gui Chen’s flute to Xiao Zhou.
- The Yin King gives a speech and bestows and honourable title to Gui Chen. They close the tomb. Ying Wu Yi comes to say his blessings. They burn Gui Chen’s tomb.
- Yu Ran and Ji Ye mourn Gui Chen. Yu Yi sees them together.
- Lei Bi Cheng meets with Ying Wu Yi. He gives Wu Yi something to protect himself.
- Ying Wu Yi enters the palace. There are rumours he is involved with Gui Chen’s death but he doesn’t care.
- Ying Wu Yi and the King speak privately. He gives him the box from Lei Bi Cheng. There’s a figurine inside and it scares the king.
- Gui Chen is with Lei Bi Cheng. Bi Cheng tells him he won’t die and did not die. Gui Chen resurrects. His eyes are red.
- Ying Wu Yi tells the king to leave the “burning stove”. He means that the King should abdicate the throne. The world has changed.
- The King sees illusions of Gui Chen. The King shows Tian Zhan the figurine. It was the seal that accompanied Gui Chen. He freaks out. Tian Zhan remembers Chen Yue is able to resurrect people. They decide to destroy all evidence.
- The King visits the orphans and gives them a bun. They eat and die. Xiao Zhou watches and cries. She makes a noise and soldiers chase her.
- She gets surrounded. The King knows she never trusted him. He holds her captive.
- Gui Chen comes, killing soldiers. The king runs away, scared it’s a ghost.
- Xiao Zhou heads back to the orphanage. She sees Gui Chen.
