- Gui Chen falls to the ground. Ji Ye and Yu Ran run to him and call for help.
- They bring Gui Chen to the palace but he’s already dead. The King comes to see him. The King promises he’ll find the killer. Yu Ran, Ji Ye, Xiao Zhou watch over him.
- Xiao Zhou finds the King and asks if he was involved in Gui Chen’s death. She begins to doubt them.
- The Yin King gives Gui Chen a royal tomb. The funeral service occurs.
- Ying Wu Yi talks to his advisor and knows he’s being targeted by the King with the planted evidence and act of the royal treatment.
- Tian Qu mourn for Gui Chen. Yu Ran stays by Gui Chen’s side. She refuses to believe he’s not around. Ji Ye remembers how a Li official removed evidence.
- The Yin King and Tian Zhan talk. The king thinks Tian Zhan’s assistance for removing Gui Chen. Tian Qu is willing to follow the king as long as he is on a path of peace.
- Ying Wu Yi meets with his officials. They give him reports on the Yin King.
Ji Ye Breaks Ties with Li Soldiers
- Ji Ye arrives, killing Li soldiers. They stop him. Ying Wu Yi accepts Ji Ye’s revenge mission. Ying Yu stops them. She tells Ji Ye to leave.
- Ji Ye continues to follow her. Ying Yu tells him she wanted him to leave to save him from her father. He tells her Ying Wu Yi is a poisonous snake.
- Ji Ye buys her alcohol. Ying Yu tells him he’s free and no longer her slave. She knows he won’t stay with her.
- The grand princess sends messages to each kingdom. She wants everyone to send soldiers to Di Du.
- Chu Wei discusses what to do. They have no choice but to oblige to the grand princess’ request.
