- Tian Zhan gives Gui Chen the Tian Qu sword. Ji Ye and Gui Chen fight.
- Ji Ye injures Gui Chen. Yu Ran runs toward Gui Chen.
- Gui Chen doesn’t want to admit to losing unless Ji Ye kills him. Ji Ye is about to kill Gui Chen when Ying Wu Yi stops him.
- Ying Wu Yi gets to command Yin King’s imperial troops. The Yin King also announces the exoneration of Tian Qu.
- Gui Chen wakes from a nightmare. He wakes to Yu Yi by his side. She tells him to care for Yu Ran and hold her heart.
- Yu Ran heads in to see Gui Chen.
- The Yin King announces the order to exonerate Tian Qu. Grand princess is unhappy with this. The royal advisors request the grand princess to retire and to leave matters with the king.
Yu Ran and Ji Ye
- Yu Ran comes to find Ji Ye at the Li soldier camp. Ying Yu stops her and Yu Ran sits in the rain waiting for him.
- Yu Ran leaves the camp and Ji Ye chases after her. She tells him she and Gui Chen married to save him. He tells her he has to complete three tasks for Ying Yu but Yu Ran thinks these are just excuses. Yu Ran leaves, crying.
Power Moves
- Ning Qin (advisor to the grand princess) receives a letter that burns upon opening.
- The next day he visits Lei Bi Cheng. Bi Cheng foresees the grand princess taking the throne with his help.
- The Xia Tang king is furious Yin King exonerated Tian Qu. He decides to unite the other kingdoms and petition against the Yin King’s decision.
- Yin King hears of everyone’s discontent with the exoneration. Xiao Zhou tells him to send an advisor to Yan Fa River, a neutral ground for the kingdoms to talk.
