- The Qing Yang tribe attacks the Zhen Yan tribe. All the men in the Zhen Yan tribe are killed except for Asule, women, and children.
- Asule watches his sisters get beat as Qing Yang soldiers catch up to them. His temper flares and he kills the soldiers.
- Asule learns of his true identity. He is the Crown Prince of the Qing Yang tribe. Asule was stillborn and the tribe thought he was a devil. His mother kills herself and he awakens. Lu Song, his father, brings him to the Zhen Yan tribe to grow up.
- Asule frees Su Ma from chains. He says he’ll protect her.
- The soldiers and Asule arrive to Qing Yang’s home. He tries to attack his father. His father gives him the servants of Zhen Yan and makes him servant king.
- The tribe leaders pressure Lu Song into crowning another prince. He doesn’t give in.
- Lu Song tells Asule his name means “to have a long life”and gives him the leopard tail, a symbol of power.
- Lu Song attends Zhen Huang’s funeral. He commands the sage, He Sa to head to Dong Lu, so the tribes will stop fighting for food.
- Tian Yan and Tian Ye become close companions to Asule. He learns to fight.
- Asule chases after a chipmunk and finds a prisoner. The grandpa teaches him a new sword technique.
- Two years later, the sage returns. The Eastern Continent is willing to enter into a contract with Qing Yang. In exchange for grains, they want a prince and soldiers.
