My Girlfriend is an Alien: Episode 1 Recap

• An asteroid passes Earth. Mr. Fang is distracted and crashes his car. He falls unconscious.
• An alien girl heals him. She protects him from the fire, spitting out blood which turns into a jewel and gets thrown into the waters. 
• Mr. Fang doesn’t remember anything a week later. He realizes it was raining. 
• The alien girl, Xiao Qi wakes from the river. Her secretary Xiao Bu has turned into a turtle. She realizes she lost her space communicator. 
• Media and ex-girlfriends cause a scene in front of Mr. Fang’s office. One by one he works to get rid of the girls. 
• Mr. Fang gets female amnesia when it rains. His assistant gives him the blue jewel. 
• Xiao Qi is determined to find the man she saved. She finds human clothes to wear and wears a wedding dress. 

The OTP Meets

• Xiao Qi freezes time but Mr. Fang is able to move in the car. She runs from police. 
• Because Mr. Fang’s mother died in a storm, every time it storms he forgets females he met recently. The doctor thinks it’s psychological trauma. 
• Xiao Qi is drawn to male hormones, a drug on her home planet. She drinks. 
• Xiao Qi listens to a musician. He runs off to take a call. Han Ge (the assistant) comes grab him. 
• Xiao Qi has no money and can’t pay the bill. She faints into the manager’s arms. 

Meeting Fang Lie

• The next day Xiao Qi wakes. The manager thinks she’s pranking her. Xiao Qi gives her a watch but it’s not enough payment. The manager makes her work as a food deliverer. The manager gives her the same surname, naming her Chai Xiao Qi. 
• Mr. Fang sees Xiao Qi disappear from thin air. She brings food to Fang Lie who is held in his room against his will by his brother. 
• Fang Lie wants to switch clothes with her and escape. She agrees to help. 
• Mr. Fang arrives. He sees it is Xiao Qi. She runs away. 

• Mr. Fang comes to the restaurant. He wants her to cook the food she delivered. 
• Xiao Qi causes a fire and he stops it by taking off his shirt. She realizes he’s the man she saved.
