- An Ning forgets to wake up. Ye Lin and Shen Zhen chat. She feels she has to work harder because she’s poor.
- Shen Zhen and Ye Lin go for breakfast. Hua Hua sees Chen Mo working in the caf. She gets her head stuck through the window.
- Rui Ning’s hair gets jammed in her curling iron. She calls Ye Miao for help. He climbs up the wall and helps untangle her.
- Hua Hua cries and is embarrassed. Chen Mo helps cut off the frame.
- Rui Ning and Ye Miao get nervous as they move close to each other. He cuts off her hair.
- They attend history class. Ye Miao thinks back to Uncle Yan’s words on the importance of a country’s history and how paintings can preserve culture.
- After class, it rains. Hua Hua leaves with Chen Mo. Ye Lin comes pick up Rui Ning. It was Ye Miao who gave the umbrella to his brother.
- Ye Lin ties up Rui Ning’s hair. He said Ye Miao dressed up as a girl when he was young and ran away because of it. Rui Ning thinks back to a childhood memory.
- Rui Ning calls Ye Miao. Shen Zhen gets angry at her for using her sheets and he listens to the conversation. They argue.
- At night, Shen Zhen looks for money outside while it rains. Rui Ning gives her the money back.
