- Ye Lin thanks Rui Ning for her help tonight. She says she’ll help him grind the ores.
- Ye Miao helps Rui Ning climb up the wall. She rips her pants. He says they hurt Shen Zhen in the process.
- Ye Miao covers her ripped pants with his jacket. Rui Ning begs him to not tell Ye Lin.
- The next day Rui Ning faints during practice. It was fake. She heads over to help Ye Lin and Ye Miao create the pigment. She gets hurt and Ye Lin tends to her wound. Ye Miao gets jealous.
- Ye Lin is unable to head out so Ye Miao goes with Rui Ning to Uncle Yan’s.
- Shen Zhen sneaks out of training camp and Fang Yuan sees.
- Ye Miao has split the powder into 4 pouches, based on colour. Uncle Yan is impressed and wants Ye Miao to be his apprentice. Ye Miao runs away.
- Rui Ning tries to persuade Ye Miao to agree to Uncle Yan’s conditions.
- The camp finds out Rui Ning and Ye Miao is missing. They come back and their trainer lectures them.
- The trainer lets them off the hook because they helped save someone. The grandpa thanks them and gives them a banner for saving his dog.
- Ye Lin meets Uncle Yan to ask for the pigment to fix a painting. He doesn’t think it’s fair to sacrifice Ye Miao to be an apprentice for it. Uncle Yan gives him the pigment.
- Ye Lin and Ye Miao talk about Rui Ning.
