- Ye Lin went to find Uncle Yan today but wasn’t successful. Rui Ning says she’ll help him meet Uncle Yan.
- Rui Ning leaves the training grounds. Shen Zhen follows but Ye Miao distracts her.
- Rui Ning leaves with Ye Lin. She sneaks out the back wall of the camp.
- Ye Miao asks Shen Zhen to be his model for his drawing. He stalls her.
- Rui Ning and Ye Lin meet Uncle Yan. He doesn’t give his pigments to Ye Lin.
- Ye Miao gives Shen Zhen the drawing. She loves it. She tells him she’s like a maid, unlike princesses (like Rui Ning). Ye Miao decides to draw an even better one of her.
- Uncle Yan has a grudge against Ye Lin’s family because his disciple was poached to work for Ye family’s art foundation.
- Rui Ning reasons with Uncle Yan. Uncle Yan gives Ye Lin ores to grind to make the pigment himself.
- Ye Miao finishes his drawing of Shen Zhen. She thanks him.
- Ye Lin gets a flat tire. Rui Ning suggests they walk home.
- Chen Mo apologizes to Hua Hua. Rui Ning calls her and tells her she left camp. Ye Miao and Shen Zhen overhears.
- Shen Zhen starts to tear up but tells Ye Miao she won’t tattle.
