- Ye Miao and Rui Ning meet the next day. They’re awkward with one another. He asks her out on a date.
- Shen Zhen overhears Ning Mo’s call with Mr. Ye. She follows them.
- Rui Ning picks up a call from Dean Li. It’s bad news and she starts to cry. She cancels on Ye Miao.
- Shen Zhen spies on Mr. Ye and Ning Mo. She takes pictures of them. Shen Zhen comes back home and shows the picture to Rui Ning.
- She processed to blackmail Rui Ning and wants her to stay away from Ye Miao. Shen Zhen defames Rui Ning’s parents and they get into a fight.
- Ning Mo comes in the middle of the fight. Rui Ning slaps Shen Zhen and Ning Mo protects her.
- Rui Ning cries because her dad is sick and has cancer. Her mom says her dad doesn’t want treatment and wanted to hide it from Rui Ning.
- Ye Miao tries calling but Rui Ning doesn’t pick up.
- At school Ye Miao finds Rui Ning. He’s about to give her flowers when she tells him she doesn’t like him. She leaves and cries.
- Rui Ning changes and becomes quiet and studious. Ye Miao watches her and follows her home. He doesn’t know why she’s changed.
- Ye Miao creates a study book for Rui Ning. He tells Chen Mo whatever Rui Ning wants to do, he’ll help her do it. If she doesn’t need him, he’ll keep her company in it.
