Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from Ma Bo Yong’s novel “Luoyang”. It follows a group of people from different social classes in the Wu Zhou period who investigate the unsettled cases in Luoyang.

Plot Synopsis:

Gao Bing Zhu, a bad deputy at the bottom of Luo Yang, becomes involved in a case by mistake and is made a suspect.

While trying to prove his innocence, he meets Baili Hongyi, who recently discovered that his father had been poisoned to death.

The two cooperate and launch an investigation.

Inner guard Si Yue, who is from a royal family, investigates and approaches Gao Bing Zhu, who is highly skilled in martial arts and street smart.

In order to find the informant letter related to the case, two people of completely different classes that also dislike each other, must be tied together and work with one another.

As they continue to dig deeper and search for the truth, they discover a terrifying conspiracy capable of destroying the city.
