- Xing Yun tries to contact Xia Ke. She feels that he’s hiding something from him. She sees photos from social media and heads to the banquet.
- Xing Yun sees Xia Ke holding Si Rei. She grabs Xia Ke and kisses him. Xia Ke’s grandma faints.
- Xia Ke takes a few days off from work. People gossip if he’ll be leaving TIG to takeover Ming Ri.
- Xia Ke, Shen Qing, Chu Nan watch over grandma. If she doesn’t wake by next week, they’ll have to deal with the M Company acquisition.
- Xing Yun’s parents give her birthday presents. Xia Ke calls and updates her.
- Xia Ke arrives at the restaurant and is bombarded by media. He cancels on Xing Yun so she won’t have to face them.
- Xing Yun receives a box of peeled shrimp. It’s from Xia Ke.
- The media gossip about Xia Ke and Si Rei being together. Xing Yun trusts him.
- Xing Yun goes to deliver documents to Xia Ke. Reporters bombard him. He acts cold to her in order to protect her from the media.
Yao Qing and He Yu Get Engaged
- Yao Qing looks for work. He Yu introduces her to work. She goes to the “interview” and it’s actually a wedding appointment. She’s angry at him. He Yu thinks if they marry she can have everything he has.
- He Yu delivers furniture to Yao Qing’s place. Since she doesn’t want to live at his place he wants to move in.
- Xia Ke runs into Yao Qing at the bar. She’s vents about He Yu. He takes her car and goes to the office.
- Yao Qing comes home to He Yu. He wants to spend all his time with her. She gives him a key, forgiving him.
- Xing Yun leaves work. Xia Ke waits for her downstairs. She faints in the elevator. The doctor says it’s because of cervical spondylosis. He recommends she stay in the hospital.
- Amy and Yi Yi make fun of Xing Yun. They hear that Ming Ri has pulled out of the acquisition. Shen Qing will be the successor of Ming Ri. TIG also successfully gets the support of investors.
- TIG and Tian Ge celebrate the collaboration. Xia Ke wants to explain his absence to Xing Yun. Si Rei calls him away.
