Plot Synopsis:
In Hangtian City in the north, Huang Yingzi, Jiang Yi and four others grow up together and are inseparable. They experience their childhood together, help each other, and agree to take the college entrance examination to Beijing together.
The age of seventeen comes quietly, and the college entrance examination rushes in with the coming-of-age ceremony at eighteen, and the youthful promises disappear into thin air.
Huang Yingzi heads to Beijing, Jiang Yi leaves overseas and the friends scatter all over the country. The pact forgets one another in the world as they grow apart. “Who do you like when you are seventeen?” has become a mystery that lingers in the hearts of six people, and it is also a lingering memory of youth.
The first decade of the new century is about to pass. As they first enter society, they are knocked down by the struggle between ideals and reality. Their once pure feelings seem like shining stars in the night sky, far from reach.
Yingzi wants to reunite with her childhood friends, only to realize that “Who do you like when you are seventeen?” was a question that she herself had to answer, and the answers for Jiang Yi and others had already long been submitted.
