Plot Synopsis:
A love story between a fox spirit and an ordinary girl. An accident ruins everything when the fox is sent to the vet and his means to cultivation, a spirt pearl, is taken by away by a young woman.
After Xia Kui gets the spirit pearl, she wants to sell it on her shop as an antique. The fox spirit Bai Xiao finds Xiao Kui to take the pearl back but the spirit pearl has already named Xia Kui as its owner. Coming into the modern human world, Bai Xiao discovers many interesting things, smells, and new inventions.
Xia Kui and Bai Xiao start to live together under a new arrangement. Unknown to them, the spirit pearl’s appearance in the human world draws attention of dangerous creatures. They want to steal the spirit pearl for personal gain and Bai Xiao and Xia Kui must stop them.
