Plot Synopsis:
He Da Ye, an independent and capable female white-collar worker, is labeled as an “older leftover girl”. Despite the pressure of getting marriage, she still does not regard marriage as a “life event”.
She chooses to pursue career success, believing that it is more reliable for women to rely on themselves than to rely on marriage and men.
In fact, three years ago He Da Ye and pilot boyfriend Luo Chang had a wedding. Unexpectedly, Luo Chang suddenly took Da Ye by hand and escaped the wedding. Afterwards, Luo Chang confessed that he was not ready to get married and assumed responsibility. Da Ye forgave him, and the two broke up peacefully.
After the divorce, He Da Ye maintains a friendly relationship with her ex-husband and they take care of each other in life. Although they both have each other in their heart, they never make the next step.
Later, Da Ye gets acquainted with Zhang Meng, an old male model. Although Zhang Meng encounters bottlenecks in his career and life, he has a sense of responsibility and security that Da Ye likes.
In the end, with Zhang Meng’s understanding and love, Da Ye lets her guard down and faces her feelings.
