Plot Synopsis:
In 1926, Mu Wan Qing, who lived in Japan for ten years because of her parents’ divorce, returns to China with her mother’s ashes for the funeral.
On the surface, she defects to her father, but in reality she tries to find out the truth behind her elder brother’s death which causes her parents to split.
The Mutiny Chief of Shanghai City Defense, Tan Xuan Lin, faces internal pressures because of his humble background. After a counterattack, the situation within the force becomes dire.
Although Xu Guang Yao, the only son of the Yuecheng Commander, is skilled and capable to takeover his father’s work, he is disgusted by the power of the officialdom.
Due to a fateful meeting, the three youth Mu Wan Qing, Tan Xuan Lin and Xu Guang Yao end up forging a deep bond.
In order to gain a foothold in the Mu family, Mu Wan Qing deliberately seeks out Xu Guang Yao for support. In order to investigate the old case related to the Mu family, Tan Xuan Lin proposes to cooperate with Mu Wan Qing to get what he needs.
After the three youth experience a series of ups and downs and even life and death, Tan Xuan Lin and Xu Guang Yao, under the guidance of Communist Liao Xi, sees through the essence of the Fan Dong Jun and devote themselves to the Great Revolution.
In the process, the steadily growing affection between the three youth also creates a heart-throbbing love story.
