- Lian Song and Si Ming play go. Lian Song tricks Si Ming and Si Ming ends up losing. They make an agreement to tell each other about Dong Hua and Cheng Yu. Dong Hua has taken an interest to cooking. Lian Song invites Si Ming to go with him in advance to taste the dishes before the gathering.
- Si Ming tries the fish. He faints after eating it. Dong Hua walks out smiling. Feng Jiu finds out if Dong Hua smiles, nothing good happens.
Feng Jiu Ticks Zhi He
- Feng Jiu and the other maids clean the palace. She has to clean up Princess Zhi He’s palace. Feng Jiu delivers the Mu Feng butterfly to Zhi He. The butterfly gets irritated and knocks things over. Zhi He controls it and gets angry at Feng Jiu. She punishes Feng Jiu to clean up the lotus pond.
- Feng Jiu takes care of the butterfly and puts on medicine for it. She creates a new brush with her fox tail fur.
Finding Meng Hao
- Dong Hua gets news of Meng Hao, his loyal general from the ancient times. He goes to Bai Shui Shan. Meng Hao’s dragon form is chained and locked up at the mountain. He’s forced to live his time here undergoing his love trial. Dong Hua frees him from the chains and leaves.
- Ji Heng is summoned by Demon Lord Chi, her brother. Her brother wants her to marry Dong Hua to help the demon tribe. Yan Chi Wu storms in upon hearing the news.
Feng Jiu’s Punishment
- Dong Hua arrives back to Tai Chen Palace. Feng Jiu watches and gets pushed into the pond. Dong Hua tries to look but Zhi He blocks him. Zhi He tells Feng Jiu if she finishes cleaning up the leaves she’ll get to stay in the palace.
- Zhi He’s maid intentionally messes up the raked leaves. The Mu Feng butterfly helps Feng Jiu.
- Zhi He is angry Feng Jiu used the Mu Feng butterfly and punishes her. She traps the butterfly and throws it in the water. Chong Lin steps out. He tells Feng Jiu to head to the kitchen for her punishment.
Feng Jiu’s Cookies
- Feng Jiu spends time in the garden. The wu you flower blooms and she uses its petals to make cookies. After eating the cookies, Feng Jiu is able to dream about her lover (Dong Hua).
- The kitchen maids prepare food for Dong Hua, Lian Song, and Si Ming. They sit together and talk about scriptures. Dong Hua brings out his sweet and sour fish. Lian Song tries the fish. He lies and says it’s amazing. Dong Hua tells Si Ming to also try.
- Feng Jiu goes to deliver the desserts. She trips and drops the cookie tray. She switches them out for her cookies. Zhi He gets news that Feng Jiu is delivering the desserts and stops her. She takes the tray away from Feng Jiu.
