Summary: The Chinese drama follows a workaholic boss Yu Hao and his subordinate Su Ke Lan, who insists on “anti-involution in the workplace”. The discover they have wonderful chemistry together due to a food show.
Plot Synopsis:
Yu Hao, the owner of a fresh food platform, sponsors and participates in a food show to promote his company, but in order to save time, he uses avatars to make dishes on the show.
Yu Hao’s behaviour angers the show team, and the show team designs a bullet screen to reveal his use of a stand-in, causing Yu Hao’s fresh food company to be attacked by public opinion.
At a critical juncture, the director of the public relations team becomes driven away by Yu Hao’s inhuman temperament.
Su Ke Lan, who loves family and food, takes over temporarily during the mess in the public relations department. She manages to ease the conflict between Yu Hao and the program team, and persuades Yu Hao to stop deceiving the audience, but to really fall in love with cooking.
Su Ke Lan becomes Yu Hao’s cooking teacher, gradually opening Yu Hao’s heart, and finds that Yu Hao, who was mean and indifferent on the surface, is actually gentle at heart. He only keeps others at a distance due to his family problems during his childhood.
Su Ke Lan walks into Yu Hao’s kitchen and brings in warms to Yu Hao’s life, not only teaching him cooking skills, but also teaching Yu Hao how to communicate and get along with others through food.
In the end, Yu Hao reconciles with his family and falls in love with Su Ke Lan, and the two eventually marry.
