Summary: The Chinese drama is adapted from A Nai’s novel “The Season of Falling Flowers”. It revolves around the grievances of two families and two generations for decades. It is a contradictory story of Jian Hong Cheng and Ning You after their middle-aged reunion.

Plot Synopsis:

Jian Hong Cheng, the son of Jian Zhi Guo, director of the Second Linshui Agricultural Machinery Factory, falls in love with the quiet and beautiful Ning You at first sight in college, but is repeatedly rejected. It was not until Ning You marries after graduation that he gives up completely.

Jian Zhi Guo is stabbed in an argument with employee Cui Hao in his early years, and his health was not as good as before. In order to protect the contracting rights of the factory for the young Jian Hong Cheng, he forces his daughter Jian Min Min to marry his apprentice Zhang Li Xin and temporarily manage the factory.

Zhang Li Xin secretly seizes power, and after Jian’s father passes away, forces Jian Hong Cheng to leave the country. Years later, Ning You is betrayed by her husband and decides to divorce.

Jian Hong Cheng, who starts from scratch, learns that Zhang Li Xin was going to sell the old factory land to repay his debts. He couldn’t bear his father’s efforts to be wasted. He returns to his hometown to keep the land, so he reunites with Ning You and finally discovers the reason behind Ning You’s repeated rejection of him. She was actually Cui Hao’s daughter.

The son of Jian Zhiguo, the director of Linshui No. 2 Agricultural Machinery Factory.
