Plot Synopsis:
Gu Hai Tang is a beautiful and smart woman at an eligible age for marriage. She arrives to Kunyang looking for her father and meets Yue Xuan and the rest of the Lang Family.
Gu Hai Tang and Yue Xuan, the second son of the Lang Family, get to know each other after many events and she works for the family’s rouge factory. Yue Ming, the eldest son, also takes a liking to her and the Lang family concocts a plan to have her marry Yue Ming. When she finds out she married Yue Ming and not Yue Xuan, she is hateful that they had all tricked her.
Hai Tang makes a deal to cure Yue Ming’s scarred face in exchange for divorce papers and to be a free woman. Yue Xuan feels extremely guilty over his lies to Hai Tang and realizes he loves her and wants to be with her. She eventually forgives him and they once again begin a relationship together.
After Yue Ming’s face is healed, he grows hatred for Yue Xuan and Hai Tang. He uses every means possible to tear them apart and to try to win Hai Tang. At the same time, the truth surrounding Hai Tang’s father comes to light and threatens to ruin Yue Xuan and Hai Tang. Will they find happiness in the end?

In order to find her father’s whereabouts she arrives to Kunyang. Hai Tang possesses excellent makeup skills and goes to work for Lang family’s rouge workshop. When she realizes she was tricked into marrying Yue Ming, she hates Yue Xuan for his deception. She promises the Lang family to heal Yue Ming’s disfigured face in exchange for divorce papers.

The eldest son of the Lang family. He is disfigured and cured by Hai Tang. Yue Ming is filled with inferiority and when he regains his appearance, he grows to hate Hai Tang and Yue Xuan. He takes away the management rights of Lang Li Chun and works to break up the two lovers.

The daughter of a general. She is charming but grounded in her feelings. She gets entangled romantically with the Lang family’s two sons.
