- Si Nian feels old. Yue Xuan wants to help and take some of his burdens off of him.
- Mrs. Lang talks with Si Nian. She wants Yue Xuan to marry Mo Hua and help with their struggles with Long De Shui.
- Yue Xuan visits Hai Tang at the school. Yue Xuan tells her good news that Si Nian has agreed for them to create the new lipstick product together. Since it’s a new product, he wants to them to make a large batch of samples first.
- Yue Ming and Mo Hua talk. He thinks they’re too kind and have made it too easy for Hai Tang and Yue Xuan. They decide to change their tactics.
- Fan Zhen gives Hai Tang money to give the students their tuition back. They find out all the students have been hired by Lang Li Chun and won’t go back to school.
- Shi Ji Zhou thinks Ah Wen has been able to get Mo Hua. Ah Wen tells him it’s over with Mo Hua. The investigator reports back to Ji Zhou about Gu family.
Miao Lan’s Resentment
- Mrs. Lang finds Miao Lan to chat. She worries about how to get rid of Hai Tang. After, Miao Lan visits Yue Ming. She plays mind tricks with him. Yue Ming knows Miao Lan hates his mother and doesn’t understand why she’s put up with it all these years.
- Mrs. Lang heads out to get her bracelet back. She sees the light in Yue Ming’s room and heads up, listening on Yue Ming and Miao Lan’s conversation. She interrupts and tells Miao Lan to leave.
- Back at Miao Lan’s room Mrs. Lang slaps her. She tells Miao Lan to stop pretending.
Yue Ming Harbours Hate
- At Lang Li Chun, Yue Xuan moves supplies, angering Yue Ming. Yue Ming thinks Yue Xuan went over him and had Si Nian agreed. He doesn’t let Yue Xuan take the supplies unless he follows procedure.
- Si Nian comes in and lets Yue Xuan take the supplies to the research lab. Yue Ming doesn’t understand why Si Nian always sides with Yue Xuan.
- Si Nian talks to Yue Ming in private. Si Nian tells Yue Ming to stop going against Yue Xuan for personal reasons. He tells him to stop trying to take revenge.
