- Hai Tang decides to go work for Lang Li Chun to search for more clues about her father. She finds Quan Shu familiar from her memories.
- Yue Xuan arrives with Ah Wen to Lang Li Chun. Hai Tang ignores him.
- Back home, Si Nian lectures Yue Xuan for not taking the business seriously. The sales are poor and production is slow. Yue Xuan tells his father he is working on new innovations to continue the Lang name. They want to find unmarried girls to work for the company.
- The next day Hai Tang goes to register for Lang Li Chun. Yue Xuan examines Hai Tang and she passes.
- Xin Qiao enrolls for Lang Li Chun and is working for Shi Ji Zhou. He wants her to report on their operations.
- Yue Xuan follows Hai Tang home. He sees her helping out the other villagers. Yi Rong Rong finds Hai Tang and says Hai Tang’s mom is a thief. She wants Hai Tang to be her stylist. Hai Tang rejects.
- Hai Tang’s mom invites Yue Xuan in for dinner. Yue Xuan accepts but Hai Tang kicks him out.
Hai Tang Works at Lang Li Chun
- It’s the first day of work at Lang Li Chun. Yue Xuan gives the girls a tour. The exquisite Hong Yan powder has stopped production for 35 years now. Yue Xuan teaches them how to recognize colours.
- After work all Hai Tang sees is red. Hai Tang wants to send her brother to school with her paycheck.
- After a few days, the girls work to select flowers. Gu Xia He eavesdrops at the school. The school won’t accept him because of his bad character. It was Yi Rong Rong’s doing.
- Yue Xuan meets with a client. He discovers the goods were replaced. Si Nian wants the girls to work overnight to make a new batch.
