- Miao Lan tells Yue Xuan she tried to help Hai Tang and speak up for her. She doesn’t want Yue Xuan to blame her.
- Si Nian and Quan Shu talk about Hai Tang’s makeup skills. It reminds them of someone. Si Nian thinks this is destiny.
- Hua Ji Li arrives to Kun Yang and has lunch with Yue Xuan and Ah Wen. He wants to give them a big order. Yue Xuan suggests he call a meeting for the businessmen to bid.
- Yue Ming feels useless. He suggests to Yue Xuan they should partner with the other businesses to complete the order.
- Ji Zhou is angry Ah Wen didn’t win over the order. He hits Ah Wen and tells him to get the order back.
- Yue Xuan and Si Nian chat. He wants to know why his dad and Ji Zhou hate each other so much. Si Nian vows to tell him in the future what happened. He tells Yue Xuan they can work with anyone but Shi Ji Zhou.
The Bid
- Ah Wen waits for Yue Xuan and sees Yue Xuan’s plan for the bid.
- The next day during the bid Shi Ji Zhou speaks up first and shares his plan to take the order and work with the other businessmen to complete the order. Yue Xuan confronts Ah Wen and knows he stole the plan.
- The Lang family have dinner. They’re in bad spirits. Hai Tang thinks they shouldn’t be sad they didn’t get the order. Hai Tang explains her thoughts and Si Nian agrees.
- Si Nian and Mrs. Lang talk in the evening. Mrs. Lang wants Si Nian to stay the night and feels Si Nian has grown cold to her. Si Nian tells her she chose to go to the Buddha templa first.
- Mrs. Lang tells Hai Tang she will keep her end of their bet and gives Hai Tang her conditions. Hai Tang agrees. Mrs. Lang says Yue Xuan will assist her.
- Hai Tang comes back to Lang Li Chun to work.
