- Yue Xuan visits Yue Ming and gives him his birthday present. He feels Yue Ming is his brother even though they are not related. He feels he ruined Yue Ming’s face when they were young.

- At night, Hai Tang and Yue Ming sleep separately. She can’t fall asleep and asks him how his face got like this.
- Yue Ming tells her about 10 years ago. He and Yue Xuan went to their father’s study to play with rouge. The solution caught fire. Yue Ming protected Yue Xuan from the fire and his face got burned. To protect the Lang Li Chun name, the family announced Yue Ming unwell and he stayed home.
Long De Shui & Shi Ji Zhou’s Alliance
- Long De Shui counts the weapons he collected from bandits. He wants to sell them and hide it from the books.
- Hai Tang asks Mrs. Lang to sign the divorce papers. Mrs. Lang doesn’t want to discuss the matter.
- Long De Shui thinks about his next move. He decides to work with Shi Ji Zhou. De Shui shows Ji Zhou the assassin and uses her to blackmail him.
- Yue Xuan finds Hai Tang in the garden. She stops him from apologizing. He wants to do something for her and she gives him instructions to care for the flowers.
- Miao Lan comes to Hai Tang to discuss Yue Ming’s birthday celebrations. Hai Tang agrees to plan his birthday.
- Hai Tang visits her mother and brother and brings them gifts.
- Qing Qing comes yell at Hai Tang. Yue Xuan got injured fulfilling Hai Tang’s requests. He gives her the two substances. Hai Tang continues to act cold towards Yue Xuan.
- The business leaders gather to discuss who will host the Flower God gala. Shi Ji Zhou nominates himself and offers the money to do it, angering Si Nian.
