- The doctors don’t let Wen Jie leave the hospital. She wants to see Yi Fan and Lei Lei off to Gao Kao.
- She cries and says it’s her important day and she must go.
- Ying Zi listens to the recording of Wei Dong and Song Qian. She sees that they’re pretending to be together. Ying Zi tells them to stop pretending. They tell her it’s not a lie but Ying Zi doesn’t believe them.
- Liu Jing and Sheng Li come back from vacation. They watch Yang Yang sleep.
- The next days the kids wake. Their parents aren’t home and have left them breakfast.
- It’s the day of Gao Kao. Yi Fan, Lei Lei, Ying ZI wait at the gait.
- Fang Yuan brings Wen Jie on a wheelchair. She wishes them good luck. The kids walk through the gate.
- Wei Dong and Song Qian arrive. They show her their marriage certificate.
- Wei Dong and Song Qian meet with Fang Yuan and Wen Jie. They show them the real marriage certificate and celebrate.
- The kids finish the Gao Kao.
- Wen Jie asks Yi Fan what school to pick. Yi Fan wants Nan Yi. Lei Lei makes it into Qing Hua but didn’t get the physics major. He vows to work harder and do masters.
- Yang Yang decides to go to Germany for school. Ying Zi heads to Nan Da.
- The parents gather at the complex two months after. The kids have all left for university. Wen Jie and Fang Yuan have bought Song Qian’s house. They hang out and have dinner together.
- The miss their children. They make a toast to their kids.
