- Fang Yuan tells his parents they’re being tricked. He asks them how much they’ve invested. His parents don’t say.
- Sheng Li tells Yang Yang he’s Victor. Yang Yang understands.
- Wei Dong gives Song Qian the apartment key. He leaves the Lego for Ying Zi.
- Fang Yuan brings Yi Fan to tutoring. He sees Xiao Meng and the teacher being close.
- Fang Yuan talks to Wen Jie about finances. He wants to help and considers being a taxi driver. Wen Jie feels bad and doesn’t want him to suffer.
- It’s December. Liu Jing heads in for chemo treatments. Yang Yang gets tutored by Song Qian. Wen Jie works OT, Fang Yuan becomes a taxi driver. Wei Dong is unhappy with moving. Yi Fan works hard in his dance classes.
- Fang Yuan meets a rider who’s looking for a singer. The rider suggests Fang Yuan to come with him and record a clip.
- Wen Jie’s department has an end-of-year party. Wen Jie heads to the washroom. The manager follows her and forces himself on her. She hits him and runs away.
- Fang Yuan does a voice recording. The boss gives him 1000 RMB.
